Forsyth/Dawson FCA is excited to introduce you to our newest staff member, Jeanette Morris. Jeanette has a heart for families, moms, coaches, and coaches' wives and she is excited to see how God is going to use her passions in Forsyth and Dawson counties. Specifically, she will be working with both counties in ministering to the large number of female coaches, athletes and coaches wives to build strong relationships and share God's word with them.
Jeanette grew up in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. She attended Ron Pettigrew Christian School where she played basketball and volleyball. She attended Bethel College in Kansas on a basketball scholarship and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Health. She has taught high school PE and coached basketball and volleyball.
Jeanette and her husband, Troy, were college sweethearts and have been married since 1998. Troy teaches high school math and is the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator at South Forsyth High School. Jeanette enjoys be a wife and a mom of four beautiful children -- Cal, Drew, Gavin and Clara. She also leads a women's small group Bible study and coaches her daughter's basketball team. In her "spare time" she enjoys running, watching her kids play sports, cheering for her husband's team, and spending time with family and friends.
Please pray for Jeanette and her family as they serve the Lord through the ministry of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Jeanette can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
